  • For a named release and its book-out fields, begin with the home search and records guide, then submit a focused Sheriff Records request.
  • For felony disposition or a release order, call the Common Pleas Clerk at 937-521-1680 or Criminal at 937-521-1684. The office is at 101 N. Limestone St., second floor, Springfield, and is open weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • For misdemeanor or early felony entries, contact the Municipal Clerk at 50 E. Columbia St., Springfield, 937-328-3700, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • For county community control, Clark Adult Probation is at 101 N. Limestone St., Room 112, 937-521-1711.
  • For state-prison status or a correction, write ODRC Central Records, P.O. Box 430, Columbus, OH 43216.
  • For a custody alert, Ohio VINE is available at 1-800-770-0192 and TTY 1-866-847-1298.
  • For post-release navigation, call Clark Reentry at 937-521-3860 to confirm its current drop-in location and hours.

Federal cases use the BOP locator and BOP records channels. Immigration custody uses ICE ODLS; Clark County's check-in area is served from 675 Brooksedge Blvd., Westerville, OH 43081, 614-948-4100, Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. That office is not a jail and cannot certify a Clark County Jail book-out.
